Here’s our track You Make Me Feel Like Someone Else taken from our mini-album Control.
Ollie Say's, "This song was written in 2015 when CFD were on hiatus...I debuted it at a solo gig and then put it away. About two years or so later, I dusted it down and we gave it a run through. When we started gigging it...we could tell straight away the crowd were getting into it! Over time its taken on a mind of its own! The song lyrically, is written to be deliberately open to interpretation. I won’t spoil it for you and tell you what its actually about!"
Ollie adds "I first played this song at a solo gig at The Vault Guernsey in 2015 and Saad was in the crowd. He said he quite liked it and it was put away. Several years later we dusted it down and gigged it. The song went down well but I don’t think it found its legs until we recorded it earlier this year. Layered with several guitar parts (most provided by Mikey at Apocalypse Studios) it started to take on a life of its own. It was Mikey’s idea to start the album with it...thank you mate!”
